1972 - Parker Welding Supplies

Established by founder Graham Parker to service local industry. The business grew by manufacturing., importing and wholesaling. By 1982 the company, now known as Parweld, focused solely on welding torches and accessories.

1988

Parweld moves to dedicated facilities in Kidderminster.

1990

PXL MIG torch range launched. Parweld's first unqiue design to hit the market.

1991

Our in house R & D department opens and CNC manufacturing equipment introduced.

1992

Parweld moved to it's current location at Bewdley Business Park, to deal with increased demand.

1995

Parweld patent innovative new screwless MIG torch handle.

2001

Shaping the future of TIG torch ergonomics. The Ergo TIG Torch delivered ground breaking design concepts with plug and play technology. Parweld launch the revolutionary XP8 MIG range, the world's most productive welding torch.

2005

XR913H Automatic Welding Helmet launched.

2006

Gas welding and cutting equipment introduced.

2007

Welding Machines introduced.

2009

Parweld opens a manufacturing facility in Wuxi China, specialising in the production of welding torches and parts. Today the site also has extensive R & D facilities operating in conjunction with our UK team. The Parweld group has achieved ISO9001 and CCC accreditation.

2010

Pro-Grip MIG launched. Ergonomically superior MIG handle design with integrated dual soft grips to allow the user to relac but never loose their grip. The first of Parweld's handles to have over moudled grips.

2012

Pro-Grip TIG handle system launched.

2016

Parweld opens a manufacturing facility in Turkey, supplying the domestic market. Pro-Grip MAX handle system launched with ball joint cable supports.

2017

Parweld's new welding machine range launched at Rockingham Race Track.

Looking to the Future...

Parweld will be looking introduce Push Pull/Spool- on Gun and Pro Grip Control with remote Control MIG System's across our torches, showing at Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting Fair and Schweissen & Schneiden Trade Fair, Germany.
